We here at Springboard Wine Company act as a team. We make our decisions together, so that everyone is on board and supportive of the choices we make as a business. Except this one time...and of course it was Sybil. She met with Ren Harris (owner, with his wife Marilyn), and Robin Gerber (GM) from Paradigm over lunch at Bistro Jeanty, and I guess it was not a simple case of infatuation, it was love. She loved the wines, she loved Ren and she already loved Robin. How can you argue about true love? It eclipses all else. Needless to say, we were signed sealed and delivered before she got out of Napa Valley. So, the next day she broke the news to Chloe and myself, and for once she wasn't in trouble. We are so excited to be working with Paradigm. Lovely people, amazing wines; it is a match made in heaven.
